Morris Knife Kit on order....Tips?
Knife Kit should be arriving in a week or so. I'll take any construction / flying tips you may want to give. I'd like to see any pics too.
I flew my Sudokhoi all last summer and loved it, but it came out at 4lbs 9oz. I'd really like to shave some weight on the knife.
Please don't laugh at my power choice because it's all I can swing right now - OS 40 FP with Mousse can pipe. I have a 46FX on my Sudokhoi, but I can't get another right now. I am hoping to come in around 4 pounds.
Also, I'd like to hear about the long tail skid I've seen on some like Termagators. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Goinstraightup,
you are gonna love it. Building is a breeze. My only "mod" was to mount the servos on ply hatches...really simplifies radio install.when i get home i'll post some pics . I also used long wire skid without wheel. and finally my alum gear did not hold up(broke at N.C.FF last weekend) to the rescue was kevin with a set of c.f. gear....wow are they light and strong.(plane is now tail heavy.) they are worth the investment.

All stock except for the rudder and elevator I built bigger. The stab I reduced by 1/4''. I could have done without the stab being reduced but I really love the rudder and ele. being bigger. I put a doubler just on the main frame (top and bottom) around the TE of the wing. I used Dubro glass profile gear........John

I hate to say to you what many have said to me but do a search. There are giant threads on this bird and things to know. The big thing to know is the instructions tell you to put in the servo trays and then the tank. The joke? You can't put the tank in after you put the tray! HA! It wasn't that funny at the time but it did make me put all my tanks on the outside of the fuse. You will love it. I take mine to dinner sometimes because it treats me so well.

Great info and pics!!!!
Thanks a bunch! I'll do some searches too. Can't wait to start building it (even more to fly it!).
Is there a prefered wire type for the tailskid?
