Default BEST PROP FOR 3W85 TWIN?

I just acquired a used 33% H9 extra 330 with a 3W85 twin on it. No prop. This is my first gasser over 50cc and i not sure what prop to use. I like the TBM props so that is what i will buy when i know the size. Thanks for your input. Also does anyone know where to get the original manual for this engine?

Vess 26A or Mejzlik 26x10. The TBM props do not pull nearly as well as these or most other brands like PT, Menz, Bolly, etc.

Hi,

In 3w props, you want a 24 x 10 and your engine will turn 6700+ rpms. If the plane is draggy like a pitts, you may want to use a 26 x 8 and the rpms will be in the 6600+ range. I have two of these engines and they run sweet.

If you send me your snail mail address, I will xerox you a copy and send it to you.
