Wheely King Slipper Question
Hey guys, I just got a used WK. It came without the stock motor, but had a brand new Venom Fireball 19 turn motor with it. I broke it in, installed it with a 21T pinion, and tried to run it. I get a LOT of clicking out of the tranny. Anything over about half throttle clicks.
I assume this is the built in slipper, does that sound right? What does that mean? Does it need adjusted, replaced, or ????
Thanks.

RE: Wheely King Slipper Question
sounds like the clicker clutch is a bit worn, there is no adjustment. You will have to either lock it or replace it. Not sure where to get the parts, since I have eliminated it with my new custom clocked case for rock crawlers
Sorry for post whoring just couldn't help myself, I am so pleased how it turned out, might manufacture them...

RE: Wheely King Slipper Question
Thanks Dogman. I was just searching on another RC Crawling borad and found a tip to check the diff by holding the rear tires and giving it throttle. The driveshaft spun while I was holding the tires. That must mean the R&P is shot, right? Is the best solution a new set of stock R&P gears?
Thanks. And the new case looks great!

RE: Wheely King Slipper Question
Got her fixed! New diff ring gear. Took it apart and put silicone ear plugs in while I had it out. What a difference! So far, I am really pleased with the WK.
