I'm not too sure that a o.s. plug will work on a 3.3. U might want to try a mccoy plug instead like the mc8, mc9, or mc59(depending on which temp range u are looking for)

Matt, I'm still using the Traxxas plugs. Are the McCoy plugs better and if you think so why? Just curious to know if I should be trying something different. Thanks.

I use McCoy plugs, Much better then traxxas plug.
I can tune it better, it's doesn't really last longer, but definitely not shorter.

I have an o.s. plug in my jato. I had a spare plug and it turned out to be an o.s. and it works but I don't know if its an Is3 or whatever you said. I would just stick with traxxas plugs or mccoys just to be safe.

Well, dunno about anyone else, but I have had pretty good luck with them so far. IMO from what I have experienced they seem to last a bit longer than some of the others for some reason, and again this is just MY experience...so it does not speek for everyone else unless u have had the same results....

well...
i only use traxxas plug when i bought my car...cuz it came with the car
but after break in...i using mccoy
i already order some os ls3...ganna get it maybe next week
and i will let u guys know
the reason i wanta try that is because i am using A3 on my touring car
and i think it;s pretty good
plus...ls3 is also cheaper than mccoy
mccoy is like 7something....os ls3 only almost 5 bucks

I've used the 3232 the 3232X the mccoy 59s and the LC3's the traxxas one's are junk they burn out extremely fast weither your lean or rich it dont matter i'd have to change them out 2 or 3 times for a weekend of racing i've had the same mccoy in there for over a month now and it still glows as brite as day one the LC3's work pretty good they do increase engine temps a little bit there is also LC4's now got some but havent tried them yet but IMO the mccoys are the best. running my 3.3 with that and bryons 20% makes it a beast my t-maxx 2.5 with 3.3 installed with 22 and 66 gearing blew my buddies 3.3 away and his is the actual t-maxx 3.3 should technically beat mine and he's running alittle lean not much tho and im running rich as **** like 230 235 temp wise to keep from blowing the engine again.

I didn't know OS made a LS3 plug...OS LC3 hot plugs are all I use in TRX 2.5 or 3.3 engines when running 20% fuel.

My traxxas plugs last a gallon or more. If you are burning out glow plugs either your tune is out of wack or there is metal going around in your engine.

no the tune was great just the filament in the traxxas plugs is a smaller guage than the mccoys and others so they burn out real fast i've had good luck with some of them but not very much ive had a couple last a week or two. Dont get me wrong they perform good but IMO the mccoys last longer and run cooler and give alittle bit better performance.

LC3 hot / LC4 medium plugs are ten times better than traxxas junk.

Run a medium or medium hot , OS LC4, O'donnell #77, or McCoy #55. You can run a hot plug too, but it's not needed with that nitro %. Then turn your HSN out 1/4 turn, sounds like it's lean.
