Motor Quits?
So I just finished my 14 tank break-in on my new mr-12.
I took it to the track last night and it ran great but after a
few laps it would quit. I looked at the temp and it was around
230. So I dont think it was getting too hot.
I have the high speed needle at 5 1/4 turns out.
Any thoughts?

Well that's what I thought also but It came set even richer
and they said to lean it out 1/12 turn per tank. So that's
(approx) what I did. At some point, around 5 turns the
motor started getting hot, around 280. So I richened it
back up to around 5 1/2 turns and now it seems to run
around 250-260.
And let me say IT'S FAST!!! But then it dies after a couple
of laps...?

Have you tried adjusting the low end needle, its either that or the idle is set to low. Get the engine up to temperature and adjust the low end needle first so that the engine will come to a smooth idle, then adust the high end needle so that temps stay under 270f.
