Default Storing Nitro Fuel...

If I am not going to run my Maxx in the winter, what would be the best way to store my leftover fuel? I know your not supposed to store it on concrete, etc. because it can contaminate it, etc. I just wanna keep it fresh, and hopefully use it next season!!

Any suggestions for me? I have about 3/4 of a gallon, and will probably have about 1/2 gallon when I go to store my truck. Just curious, because along with regular gasoline, this stuff ain't cheap!! [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

Keep it some where that's always around 70-80*F and it should be fine. I've got a gallon of fuel that's over a year old and I keep my fuel in a conditioned space and its fine.

Get most of the air out the container and store it out of direct sun light.

thanks guys... I MAY use my Maxx as a complete basher this winter, IF i get this Revo that I'm aiming to get!! My Revo will become my prized possession, and the Tmaxx will be an all out hardcore basher!!! I just received a 3.3 from a friend on here, and am going to replace the 2.5r, and I will probably have more fun with it with the 3.3 in it!!

Moral of my nonsense, IF I get this Revo, I will bash the HECK outta my Maxx this winter, if not, then I have to baby the Maxx until I can get something to replace it, meaning I wouldnt run it in the winter... WISH me luck on the REVO!!!! [8D]

Storing nitro fuel - Force as much air as possible from the container, cap/seal the container tightly, store it in a cool (not cold) and dark location.
It's that simple.
You don't need to worry about whether it's stored on a shelf, concrete floor or whatever. As long as the container is purged of air and sealed tightly it will not become contaminated.
Stored properly it will keep for a year or more.

But using it is more fun than storing it so good luck gettnig the Rveo.
