Default What type of setup needed for 2.4GHz crawlers?

Hi,

I am getting into R/C. I have a Super Clod Buster kit I am putting together.

I was thinking of getting a 2.4GHz system, and will probably get more cars in the future so I want to be able to bind to multiple receivers.

If I get a crawler down the road, what transmitter system would give me most flexibility. I think I can spend $300 max on this right now...

I used my trusty 3pm fast in my crawlers and drift car. I would recommend a m11 or a nomadio since they have 4 channels. Im assuming you be using four wheel steering and twp esc for dig... if not a 3 channel will work fine

I really like Futaba radios, but if you ever need a 4th channel the M11 is a very popular radio and I agree with NORCALLUMP!

If you like stick radios and want to go all out :

http://2.4gigahertz.com/systems/futk3000.html

It has almost all of the functions of a 3PKS in a stick radio.

The 4PK is supposed to have some menu items geared toward crawlers and is four channel:
