Default Charge rate for starter box battery

What is the max charge rate for a lead calcium battery, the ones typically used in a starter box? I can choose up to 5 amps, but I don't know what is safe. I do know that I don't to use an over-night charger if I don't have to.

Default RE: Charge rate for starter box battery

If you're talking 12v lead acid, I believe it was .7 amps. Been awhile.
