Is lipo or brushless better? anyone join the conversation
im gettin a HPI E10 and im just stumbled on wich is better more run time or more power and also if i went brushless with castles motor and esc is the esc compatible with the HPIs transmitter?

thank you i definatly needed to know that do own an E 10? if so how fast does yours go with brushless and lipo and what kind of motor and lipo did you use?

it also depends what brushless motor you get and what lipo you get. If you want a decent setup similar to stock, but a bit quicker, a 2s lipo paired with mamba 4600kV. If you want to go quicker than that get the 5200kV. If you want to go stupid fast, find the lowest kV motor like the VXL 3500kV and pair it up with a higher lipo like 3s, 5s. The vxl however could only handle 4s max, actually you are really pushing it, but it doesn't sweat as much as 6800kV.

from my expirience the mamba max 5700 should get you up to 40 mph on a 2 cell lipo.i dont know the internal gear ratio is or what gears are avalible for the e10 is but on my tc4 i was geard at 25/69 and i was getting 46 with the 5700 on a 2 cell!.and unlike the 7700 you still have the ability to run a 3 cell when you want to go faster.
