tamiya 1400 batterys?
i have two tamiya batterys that i cant find any info on the tamiya website.they are 1400scr and 1400sp.what is the better of the two? what does scr and sp mean?

These are both sanyo cells. To my knowledge, the scr is more of a racer pack, and according to the info I could find it has the lesser internal resistance and best performance etc. With that being said...and both of these being 1400 nicad packs, I don't think it really matters...I would upgrade to a 4200+ nimh pack like the IP, EP, or ener-g cells, or just go lipo

i got a couple of 1400s to muck around with my tt01.looking at 4200s for my yokomo bd.are ener-g cells better than most 4200s out on the market?

I would say they are, simply because they are a newer technology. They should have more punch and especially more runtime. I have a slash ener-g pack and I'm amazed at it's runtime. I've got some ib-3800 cells and they don't really last anywhere near as long in runtime. Orion or someone even has some 5300 cells out, but I've not heard alot of reports about how they are...
