mcx upper rotor head repair
I was flying my mcx the other day and broke the upper rotor head.Went to the lhs and they where sold out said they had 2 dozen comein in next week me wanting tofly very bad and not wanting to wait came up with a idea.I work full time asa heavy duty truck mechanic and have acess to heat shrink tube for eletrictcal work.so i brought home a small peice of it cut to fit just under the fly bar.Installed the fly bar and screw and very very gently heated it.It works great just be carefull not to melt the head it self and the heat shrink tube is avalabile all over the place so it might just get your heli in the air with out after market ebay parts or brass tube or anyting

i was just trying to say that a quick easy repair for your upper rotor head. Even if one side of the ear on top is totaly broke off is to slide a litte peice of heat shink tube like for electraical applications. install the fly bar put the screw in line the bottom up the best you can very genty heat the heat shink tube and its ready to go i did over heat it alil and had to redrill my blade holders but it will work till i get a new one when there in stock i can take pic but its from a cell phone
