Chalgrove April Jet Fest!
Better late than never, busy day today at Chalgrove in sunny Oxfordshire-lots of jet action, mainly Comp ARF models other than Steve Elias with his new Ultra Bandit, Rob Westwater with his KingCat, Paul Gray with his Fox Sabre, plus Fox Hawk and Savex L-39. Five or six Flashes, plus three Sparks. Though Tim Jenkinson lost is brand new Spark to F problems.

I remember it well. I was in front of you on the same frequency with my brand new Boomerang Intro. My Futuaba PCM suddenly went berserk and I decided not to fly, thinking I had mis- installed my radio.
You took the peg and had 5 or 6 lock-outs, before it dug in. When I got home, I tested my radio without fault and then flew at our club site also without fault. So my conclusion afterwards was we both had serious interference and neither radio was faulty. I do not suppose that is much consolation to you but to me it does re-enforce the argument for 2.4G. I am told that when it comes to interference the F 2.4G meets military specs but the JR does not. No doubt both systems will prove themselves over the coming season.
So the real question to me was not F or JR but was it on 2.4G or 35Mhz?

For sure it was not an operating frequency problem. In either case. The Tx is with Ripmax so maybe they will find the problem.
