i just got a r-756 and i have no idea what receivers work with it or how the heck to use it I do not have any fm receivers. are there any am that i can use with it. I really dont understand how it works

Try a search on google, just type in the make and model and hunt through the search results. I did a short look and found several hobby stores that listed them and what features they have.

I would also do a search for the manufacturer, it may provide some insight and options. Search craiglist in the nearest large city to where you live, you may find someone selling one with the receivers or just the receiver.
