Throttle Servo Adjustment
Hey all I have recently put a new 3.3 in my Revo 2.5R. I am having a serious problem getting the engine to idle right. After the engine warmed up and i put the breaks on it will idle down fine. If I just let off the throttle it will not idle down. I have tried adjusting the idle screw and low end needle but I cant seem to get it right. Is it possible that my throttle servo linkage is botched somehow? How can I determine if it is off or not ? or is it just me and Im not adjusting things properly.

RE: Throttle Servo Adjustment
Take the filter off the carb with the motor not running and turn the radio and truck on and see if when you hit the brakes does the carb close at all. I remember one of my past trucks did that but I don't remember if it was a maxx or my 2.5 revo

RE: Throttle Servo Adjustment
adjust your throttle trim on the transmitter until it works right, sounds like the idle setpoint on the throttle servo is off a little with the new engine...
