hi people

simple question:
my motor feels like its getting a bit to hot,
is it cause its geared to low or to high?

i got a 5.5t speed passionbrushless running around final 4.0 ratio
good or bad?
what should i run?

thanks

Default RE: hot motor

if the motor is too hot then it's usually geared too high.... hot can be subjective though, buy an infared temp gauge and check it.

Never go by touch to check temps.

A motor can be 130F and feel to hot to touch.

Spend 20-25 bucks and get an IR temp gauge. It a great investment.
