Novak 5800 problem
I got my tt-01 with a novak 5800 with sport esc. It ran fine for about 3 charges. Suddenly the motor would not turn over. I took it out and it still would not turn. I flicked the pinion with my finger and it began to spin fine. But as soon as I stopped it, it wouldn't turn again. So, I flicked it again and it spun. The motor runs fine, it just work start itself. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Edit:
I just remembered that right before I did this that I plugged my battery in while the car was on, it sparked at the battery connectors. Yes, i'm an idiot. I assume that this probably shorted something out. I also remember smelling something burning, and I think, but not sure, that I saw smoke from the esc.
Thank you.

RE: Novak 5800 problem
might be the esc then and not the motor. the only way to really know is to check the esc with a known good motor and the motor with a known good esc.
