Weedy Bogging in corners
SCENARIO:
Start her up, throw her in the water, let her warm up, then have fun... not this one! When I got her in a straight shoot she will rip right along but half way through a corner (sharp or wide) she will bog down (while at full throttle). I have to let off the throttle and then she snaps out of it. SOMETIMES it will bog on the straight shoots and I will have to do the same thing (let off the throttle from full throttle). I checked and rechecked air leaking from iso block/head, and iso block/carb. Maybe to lean, to rich? I know rich will run, but lean will not...but I need some advanced advice on this one.
Specs:
48" woody mono
25cc weedy engine
Walbro WA167 carb
Prather 280 prop

RE: Weedy Bogging in corners
Are you running a tuned pipe on the engine? If you are it sounds like the pipe is too short. Otherwise you're overloading the prop in the turn. Try a smaller prop or one with less pitch, or as Mart said, raise the prop or up angle on the stut.

Sounds like could be to rich, that is why it picks back up when you get out of the throttle. I would pull the plug and have a look.

High end, if the boat runs good at idle without any problems chances are it will be the high end. Before running the boat check the plug for color. If it is to rich the plug will be black.
