Default New Body!

I finally got another body for my TT-01 after I beat up the Audi A4 body that came with it. I paid $20 for a New Bright Range Rover, put on a roof rack and some stickers and stuck it on the TT-01.

Yes, that's my Micro-T in there!

VERY NICE... that body fits like it was designed for it... I wonder how it would fit a DF-03 rally chassis, I think the tires/wheels on the DF-03 would make it look more realistic... although I'm sure you could just buy the tires/wheels from the DF-03 separately.

Thanks! The TT-01 wheelbase is about 1/8" (maybe 260mm wheelbase?) smaller than the wheel base of the New Bright car so there is some rubbing on the rear wheel arches (also doesn't help that the rear foams are wider than normal so they rub), so I have to grind away at the rear wheel arch to make sure there's enough clearance for the wheel.

It's a cheap way to get a body though!

That's the one, except I paid $20 for the whole thing at a local electronics shop (box was beaten up but car was good!).

Roof rack is a Proline roof rack and Parma decals.

OK, within one battery pack, I flipped the car at least 10-12 times, broke off both mirrors (need to glue them back on), lost a headlight lens, and scratched up the roof rack.[:@]

The car is really top heavy and the foams grip so hard when heated up that the car refuses to slide and will tip if you're going even slightly faster than you should.

Sounds like you need some slicks on there. Sounds like it drives almost like a monster truck.
