Default refurbish that canopy

My ten year old little Extra 300 canopy was yellowing with age and developed quite a few stains and cloudy streaks. I buffed it out with my favorite aluminum spinner polish (Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish) and it looks as good as new again. Just thought I'd share the info[sm=49_49.gif]

A word of caution on this technique however, if you've painted the canopy frame, the Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish will act the same as an automotive type rubbing compound and also remove layers of paint. So keep it away from the painted portion/frame of the canopy if you want to maintain the integrity of your paint job. [sm=49_49.gif]

was it hand applied/buffed or did you use a polishing wheel/dremel?
