Prop Strike
I would not recommend it. I have had several of these props and have experienced the same thing. I personally tossed mine after a prop strike. I'm in the aviation industry as a Aircraft Mechanic for the last 25 years and what I know about composites it's possible to repair minor tip damage, however it is very involved and you would need ability to vacume bag and heat the prop and repair during the cure.
Kind of bites due to how expensive they are, but I think you would be alot safer to toss it.

Giant Scale Prop Question
I was kind of thinking along the same lines - it's a bummer to toss a Mejzlik, but I don't need any problems on the ground or while airborne
I think I'll stick with wood props from this point forward
Thanks for the info

Giant Scale Prop Question
Post a pic of the damage if you can.
I totally agree with the full scale AME opinion, but this is much different in terms of risk. I think any composite prop can be fixed but it comes down to the money/ time question. If it takes 10 hours to fix the prop, does that jive with how you value your spare time versus the cost of a new one.
In any event if you want to chuck it, send it to me and I'll make my own evaluations. Almost any minor repair to a high performance prop outweighs its worth but I enjoy that kind of stuff.

Giant Scale Prop Question
That settles it!!
For liability and safety reasons, its getting trashed :disappoin
I installed a 3W 26X10 prop on the Edge - I only lost 1 lb of thrust and it produces less Db's What a wonderful world!
