Flying formation yes, doing it with other planes up at the same time-suicidal.
You guys must have more money than sense to do that.
Sorry guys, just my opinion.

Takes more than one flight to get into "the grove" and finely match the throttle settings used for slow flight or blazing fast passes. Usally helps to set some rules both of you know before hand like who is either ALWAYS going to be on the inside or outside of the turns and who will be the leader, always helps if the slower plane leads and the faster accelerating plane follows. Callers for each pilot is a must aswell, and cruicial for those opposing knife edge passes [sm=bananahead.gif]

I don't have any video to share but I have a few pictures that were snapped with a rapid shot camera, these passes were probably around 170mph if I had to guess. Fun times...

Those are some nice pics of the Blue Angel Flashes. I think Shui and Smokin' Joe set a new standard for formation flying the Thunderbird Flashes (sorry Navy) at Desert Jet Storm this weekend. This is almost close enough to trade paint.

Yeah, that's how we do it out west :-)
My suggestion would be to get closer :-) and...communicate the entire time. Call everything.
