RE: Rc10gt
So the two little white clutch shoes just slide in no springs? and is there some sort of drive gear that goes on before the flywheel? Thanks a bunch for all the help!

no drive gear , the flywheel usually has a tapered collar
that holds it onto the crankshaft, first the tapered collar then
the nut that has the bearing shank on it holds on the flywheel.
from the way i remember the shoes have no srpings on them ,
then goes the clutch bell, and the snap ring ,or some have a bolt
to hold it all together. if the shoes do accept a spring ,they will have
a groove through the middle of them . some have a little spring that
goes on the shaft that the shoes go on .but either way it would be
evident that there should be a spring.

I have the same little engine. It is a little power house. This one is old and tired and has seen better days. Here are some tips for ya. Follow the pics. Good Luck.
Make sure you use Blue LocTite on the nut and a C clip to hold the clutch bell in place.
