I also think it's a Cosmos. Schweet!!!

In the photograph it does seem slightly dis-proportionate for the .60 size Cosmos so maybe the .40? I do know photo's and even paint schemes can sometimes make things look a little different too...

Could you measure the overall length and wingspan...For reference my Cosmos .60 box lists a length of 58" and wingspan of 65".

Have Fun...

I was looking to see if I had the specs for the Cosmos 40 but it appears not.

Anyone?

Yeah after some searching I found Pete's thread (rv7driver) about his Cosmos 45. He lists the wingspan as 57.5" in that thread and it's designed for a side exhaust engine. The .60 size has a glass bellypan which runs from the nose to just behind the wing. The 45 has a wood block at the nose and the bellypan starts aft of the wood block. (which is what I think I see in the photo above...wood block nose thingy painted red - bellypan missing).

Pete's thread:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9563276/tm.htm

The nose area just in front of the canopy looks a little different on the .60 from the print/box photo. It seems a little longer and doesn't quite blend into the canopy as much as the .45 appears to. The turtle deck on the 60 seems longer and slimmer as well. (may just be my perception)

Just my .02...

Chuck

The guy has it listed as a 59" wingspan 49" length. Now the most important question,Does anyone know where to get a bellypan for it? Or am I going to have to fab one up?

Singapore Hobbies may still have one. Otherwise, you'll have to make your own - not too hard and there is lots of information here in this forum.
... or get Atlanta60 to help you - Chuck is good... when he's home!!
