Default Clutch help

I've been building a .28 big block t maxx. I Got it all just about done but now i need a clutch bell. I have a 3pc clutch shoe assembly on. Any one know a bell that'll cover it and also im probably gonna need a spur gear to mesh correctly. Thanks for the help.

I'm on the same boat. I had a hyper .21 on my T-maxx but after 9 years broke the rod!!
now I drop a force .28 with a 3 shoes and a savage clutch bell ( 18T) but I found out that the spur gear (72T) 8.0 is the wrong pitch!!
after a lot of research.... I found that the MGT spur (52T) 1.0 gear will fit.
so I order the spur gear, the friction pegs and the ball bearing.
they will arrive on Thursday... I will let you know if all fit just right.
this is the ball bearing..... http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/371837.asp

the spur gear....... http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/372138.asp

and the pegs..... http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/371642.asp

I had my LHS ( the owner is my best friend) order the parts so I will get them on Thursday let see what happen.

P.s here are some pics. on the work in progress.

no... that's because is a different pitch. 1/8 scale 18T clutch bell (1.0 pitch) with a 52T spur gear 1.0 pitch. is almost the same as running 1/10 scale 20T clutch bell ( 8.0 pitch) with a 72T stock spur gear (8.0 pitch)

according with the info I got the spur fit the original and 2.5 (black tranny) T-maxx but you have to get the spur, the pegs( they are a bit bigger) and ball bearing.
but I will find out on Thursday if it will fit!!!

No!!!! I wouldn't do that... plan B is...... go back to 1/10 scale clutch bell (8.0 pitch) but get this 3 shoes set up.... http://www.beatyourtruck.com/prodrev...RC-CLUTCH.html

That's plan B lol.

P.s but I really want the 1/8 scale bell. is beefier!!! just look at the 3 shoes clutch!!!!!!!
