is there a difference between the ones with blue rings and ones with black rings have sourse for latter

There are many manufacturers of push in fittings.
Festo shows fittings with blue, black and grey release rings. (The ring color is a visual indicator of the environment the fitting was designed for).
The Festo fittings that have the blue colored rings work with kerosene and Jet-A very well.

Research the various manufacturers literature to find what you need to know.
McMaster-Carr has a large variety of fittings. www.mcmaster.com
