RE: tmaxx exhaust?
With all due respect, I recommend you stay away from dual exhaust. Only reason, there is not enough back pressure to the fuel tank keep a proper tune. And they are 3X as loud as stock. Do they work, Yes. I bought one too thinking the same thing. But I made it half a tank and took it off and went back to stck. You can always get a piece of rubber hose and run it to the back from the exhaust out let. Or a exhaust deflector. This is only my opinion. From my own experience. Just one of the things you need to tollerate when you go Nitro.

RE: tmaxx exhaust?
i agree ! i can tell you from personal experience, rear exhaust is not good !! (some poeple say that have good luck tsais brand rear exhaust)
all others , (and i mean ALOT ) hated thiers do to chasing a tune (i have read a lot of threads about this subject)
i have a exhaust deflector on my resonator pipe, that works great!!!!

RE: tmaxx exhaust?
I did this, I just put a high temp silicon hose and no preblems, this is in my ntc3 but i did the same in my t maxx, I did not notice any chance in performance, try it and if you dont like it just take it off....

RE: tmaxx exhaust?
Adding long exhaust extensions like that *USUALLY* hinders performance 1000-2000rpms. It will probably boost the low-end power a little bit, but hurt the top end. *Some* engines see a performance increase, but usually they're airplane engines.
If you want a better pipe, why not get a CVEC or TRX Blue anodized T-maxx pipe #TRA4942? http://www.ehobbies.com/tra4942.html
I used the #4942 pipe on a 2.5r and a 3.3 and it worked just as good as my neighbors with resonators. Its cheaper, too.
