Hi Bruno
You can also try www.fluggmodellbau.de.
I have a set for mine consisting of
1 headlight
2 fuselage position lights (red and white)
2 wing position lights (red and green)
Mine is the normal Hawk, if you let put it this way. I still have to paint it like this
Regards
Nuno

I ordered the light kit From Flugmodellbau that is now sold by airfighter.eu
They have a kit for the Airworld hawk that also fit the the Skymaster 1:4,75 Hawk
http://shop.strato.de/epages/1545266...lectSubProduct
Ask for the new V7 7,2 volt lights.
http://shop.strato.de/epages/1545266...22Nova%20V7%22
These lights are outstanding. The Brightest I have ever seen on a model. Much brighter than the Details for scale lights I have seen. I have just installed the same type of V7 kit in my C-ARF Tutor, and I am starting to worry about being blinded [8D]
Have a look at the same lights in my Tutor.

Staale,
I agree ! I also have the V7 lights on my Hawk100, they are extremely bright. I got the lenses from them also, the one for the flash on the top of the plane, was filled with 24 hour epoxy mixed with a very small amount of "white tix powder", this made a very nice effect, and the light is visible from 360 degress around it.
Still need to fix lights on the intake and below the tail
Highly recommended!

I havn't seen a ton of light systems on jets but have seen the Electro Dynamic setup on a yellow F-15, in bright spring day light it was very visable in flight.
The system looks pretty well priced also.
I'm thinking about trying it in my Jet Legend Hawk
Link: http://electrodynam.com/rc/EDR-117/index.shtml
worth a look anyway

Flugmodelbau use 1 watt emitters /Details for scale use 1 watt emitters!
Why they are much brighter?Plus Details4Scale ones uses 3w strobes!!
Personaly i have instaled Flugmodelbau ones on a small skymaster hawk
Details for scale are way easyer to program [sm=thumbup.gif]
plus they dont requier soldering like Flugmodelbau ones[:'(]
...by the way D4Scale comes up with a new unit soon![X(]

RE: Light System for the Hawk Skymaster.
George.
Just telling what I have seen.
The Flugmodelbau lights I am talking about is the NOVA V7 7,2v and they are superbright. I have just bought a SM MB 339 with a D4S light kit two weeks ago, and I will say that the D4S lights on the 339 are about 10 times weaker than the FMB ones in the Tutor.
As for the the programing. I had never done it before, and it took me just a few minutes to choose a light pattern to suit the tutor with 2x strobes, 3x NAV and 3x LL + switching points on a 3 pos switch. Not very dificult IMO.
The guy I bought the 339 from gave up on programing it one year ago, so all the lights are always on

RE: Light System for the Hawk Skymaster.
Stalle,
Who did you buy the MB-339 from? Do you know what system he had installed in the MB-339? I am guessing that the MB-339 has one of our older LED based lighting systems since you are saying that the FMB lights are 10X stronger. That would be about right if comparing the 1 watt emitters with 25-50mA LED's.
Thanks,
Dan

RE: Light System for the Hawk Skymaster.
Hi Dan.
I bought it from a flying buddy here in Norway. The only one that has bought a light kit for a 339 from you I think. Can send you the name by PM if you can't figure it out.
Can of course be previous generation lights, and probably is. They are about 1,5 years old.
I have heared something about the FMB V7 lights being 3w, but don't know for sure.
That being said, there is no reason for any brighter lights. Actually I am a bit worried about blinding from the landing lights in low light conditions, so it would be a waste having even stronger lights.
1 watt probably is about right.

RE: Light System for the Hawk Skymaster.
Thanks Stalle,
I checked on the older systems and it is an older LED standard lighting controller and lights.
Just be careful if the V7 is using 3 watt lights (especially the one's that are on all the time) they can burn your retina if you happen to look directly into them in low light conditions (when your pupils are open wider). When I was first testing the Multi Watt units, I happened to look into a 3 watt strobe just as it pinged off. I had a headache and saw those little white flecks for about 2 days...OUCh.
