Default Hobbico 925 peak charger question....

the DC option works fine and the battery gets charged when plugged up to a car battery, but when i try to use the AC option...it switches to trickle after only 2 minutes of charge time. The pack does get little charge but only 2 mintues worth. I have tried every outlet in my apt with the same results. I have also tried it at a house with same results. Can anyone help me here as to why my charger is doing this? Thanks

As far as I know Hobbico does not make a 925 charger, they have the 900 series which stops at 920 as per the website.

I had one of these chargers years ago and I think I still have it in a box somewhere hiding from me right now.

Confirm what model you have.

Also, how do you know what state the packs are in before you start charging?
Are you checking the voltage before and after a charge or discharge?
Do you cycle the packs?

If you are doing everything correctly then you may have a bad unit. The 900 series chargers have a 5 year warranty.

Default Correction

I was wrong about the 925, Hobbico does or did make the 925 charger.
I am unable to find much on that charger at the moment and I am unsure why its not listed on the website.

Will let you know if I see anything that might be causing your problem.

I have been unable to find any info on this charger, you should contact hobbico by email or call them.
See if you can get a manual and ask them if they can help you with your problem.
Please update the thread as to your findings.
