My new Traxxas 5309 + some questions
well just got a truck off ebay. its a Roller (no motor) and needs controller and reciver.
i plan for the OS .21 TM motor.
Questions:
does this truck have extended arms then previous revo 3.3?
will the RPM 3.3 revo upgrade give the same stance and wideness as stock?
Recomadations on a controller/reciver?
truck was only $150 +$40 shipping........i bellive thats a good deal!

looks like a great deal to me. the arms are the same as the earlier revo's.( i recently learned this) . i have a spektrum dx3s. awesome radio, good price and, telemtry is neat! the extra width comes from the wheel stance

i just lookedup that controller, looks like a great choice, thank you!
so all the revo upgrads will fit this truck? (like tekno throtle)
Also is the OS.21 tm a good choice? any other good motors in this price range (below $300)

RE: My new Traxxas 5309 + some questions
I have a sirio s27 that was 159. The sirio 23 mount was about 20, a tekno throttle linkage and rd logics bb pipe round out the package for a reliable setup that will run with the big dogs. It's not a true bb so there's no clearance issues and that engine has been trouble free for 3 gallons now, I love it.I have an 18t clutch bell to make up for the lower rpm. That os 21 isn't very powerful for 300 bucks.
