why? they're fine.
hop-ups are over rated, even big bucks big bores make little difference.

I second that,

no reason to waste you money, most of the shiny looking shocks you see (especially the cheap ones) are garbage

the only things that are worth while in hop-ups are better electronics, rpm arms and aluminum chassis braces, everything else just adds weight and price.

many times shocks will get damaged in a collision that destroys the arms, so replacing with plastic is much less painful.

also dont get aluminum arms, towers or posts, you want those to be weak spots, instead of those breaking you break bulkheads, diff covers and chassis pieces- which are MUCH harder to replace.

upgrade wisely.

Yea, the stockers are pretty decent as is. All Ive done to mine for racing was different oil and I replaced the rear springs with Emaxx white progressives.

What ever you hop-up don't hop up the front a arms. Those are the easiest parts to replace if you crash.

800Kv is really low, I wouldn't try using that motor in an RC it'd be really slow

The lower the KV you get the bigger the battery you need.
