Looking for vented Sherman Engine cover
Hi
I am looking for one of the Sherman Engine covers with the vents in it as pictured below but cannot seem to find a supplier anywhere with one in stock. Does anybody know of a place who have them please?
cheers

What scale? The one you are showing is most likely a 1:35 scale resin kit. Not sure if anything like it is even available in 1:16th scale.

Gorehound:
Thats the A3 engine deck, and Imperial Modellbau in Europe has it, along with a few other bits to convert the Tamiya to A3 configuration. I cannot remember their link, but the Gernam link I googled was NOT them.
I thought that Nick down in the US (maker of some excellent turrets and hulls for the sherman) also made this piece, but I'm not 100% positive. Anyone able to confirm this?

Here's the link for Imperial...and they do have it: http://www.imperial-modellbau.de/shop/index2.htm
Don't see it ETO's site...but they're a good place to start, too.

THanks chaps, I have placed an order with Imperial - I think. I went through the process but it did not take payment so far. My German is pretty poor but I think I did it correct and have an order confirmation email so will wait and see if they get in touch to close the deal.
I wondered about scratch building but they had some other parts I wanted on the site so decided just to order a few bits.
cheers again

Of the 10 I ordered for stock last summer, 8 arrived with the PE damaged and/or the resin cast parts totally unusable. Just a heads up on that kit. That is why you do not see them on the etoarmour.com sight. No reply to several emails to Imperial about the problem, and of course no replacements either.

After that and several other fiasco's with Imperial I refuse to stock their parts. Quality is too spotty, at least for what I had ordered for stock and for evaluation. Can not answer about the tail lights, as those I did not order.

I will let you know what they are like when they arrive but am a bit worried now after hearing your issues with them. They have processed the order and they are on their way as I type.
