Control Surface Throw and COG Recommendations
Getting ready to set the throws and COG on my Robbe ASW19 3Mglider and low and behold the manual doesn't have any recommendations. If anyone would be willing to offer their input on a good baseline starting point I would appreciate it. I was going to start with 1/3 of the way back on the wings but that has worked on a glow plane for me but unpowered glider flight is new to me.

In the sticky thread at the top of the listings here and on the Aerodynamics forum there's links to online CG calculators. Or just google for "online cg calculator" and you'll find them.

Gonna have to do some more reading and actually figure out how to take all of those measurements that the calculator asks for.
