Default 2.4 radio system

well i just learned the hard way why a 2.4 radio is a great idea to have.......i was out driving my truck around the train tracks like i normally do (great jumps) and i heard a train coming so i got off the tracks and was driving my truck on the road waiting for the train to end. i seen the end of the train coming so i got my truck set it down ready to hit the tracks again and all of a sudden it just took off by itself i tried to turn it and hit the brakes well that didnt work my truck missed the first set of wheels and stopped under the train until a coal car hit it with the bottom drop section and my truck is gone i found my battery, the front wheels, part of a shock, and the body wasnt hurt to bad...........well i just lost my favorite truck!

OUCH!!!!!!  I lost a car with an am as well!!!!   Mine got hit by a truck!!!!   I just bought a futaba 2PL 2.4 FHSS, and I LOVE IT!!!  I only have two cars at the moment, so its good for me.  Very inexpensive to get into 2.4, and the extra recievers are less than $60 bucks!!!

it was an electric rc ruckus.... im not sure what caused it to take off im gonna guess it was the train but that was the first time i have ever experienced interference that actually caused my trick to take off like that... i am thinking about getting the hobbyking 2.4 system for $20.

I use an Eurgle system that cost me about 40 bucks....with $8 receivers and it works fine...no issues with it.  I run all 3 of my vehicles with it.

I got the GT2, GT3, and GT3b with no issues spread out on like 13-14 vehicles (don't feel like counting)
been using the GT3 for over a year with no issues at all

I really want the GT-3B, but it's been out of stock for seems like forever now and I refuse to pay over $40 for it since it's $35 with free shipping at hobbypartz.

If I knew they were going to get em in I would have waited

The hobbyking 2.4 radio has yet to fail for me. I just got into cars and have already had a runaway with an am and a fm tx so i bought the 2.4 from hobbyking and its great. Plus its only $30 from the usa warehouse with 3 day shipping

im not shure why it says 2 channel beacuse the pictures clearly show a 3 channel transmitter.... the reciver is a 5 channel reciver ... and i have the same one so ya... but im just using it till my gt3b gets here wich is when ever hobby partz gets it back in stock
