Default Hobbywing +Stampede question

I stopped by the hobbyshop the other day to look at some paint and I kinda left with a hobbywing 35 amp and a 9 turn motor. Put it in the old stampede geared 20/86 and a two cell lipo. Am I in the ballpark with this gearing? Quick test run in the alley was awesome and goin to the track/bashgrounds this weekend. Thanks in advance for the advice.

should be good.
as long as the motor doesnt get over 170 and the esc stays below 150-160 degrees you are fine.
with your gearing im sure temps are much lower than that.

Thank you very much. All we need now is weather and it'll be a wild weekend.
