Default 3:1 gearboxes

The left side drive gearbox makes the tank pull to the left horribly. It sounds like its eating itself and the motor heats up very quickly unlike the right side. It runs very rough and acts like its something is choking it down. Any suggestions? Similar problems??

Thanks for any reply, PanzerAce

Gears are binding. something is bent or the gear lash is set too tight. Take them apart and true up the side plates. If the gears are too tight then do a breakin in with some light abrasive link valve lapping compound.

Thank you very much Panther G. You have been very helpful. Gears work fine now. The left side plate was bent in.
