Default Programming radio for smoke...

I just installed a new Sullivan "Sky Writer", it has the option to adjust the amount of flow to the muffler, using a computer radio. Problem is I don't know the proper way. I have a JR XP8103. I'm thinking I have to mix some channels. The way I have it now, is on the gear switch, either on or off, but how do I adjust the amount of flow? Please help!!!!

I think the gear channel might be a "on" - "off" channel on the JR. In this case you can't adjust the servo "Volume" (at least not without a match box). I put it on an aux channel (Futaba) and use the slider to adjust the flow.
