rc 10 motor
hey any input as to if the .12 is any better than the .15 on rc10's? i've been reading a lot of things as to rc10's with .12's mine has a .15 am i gimped from it?

As a rule of thumb - There's no replacement for displacement.
Thats not true, sort of. For any engine, if its boared out, the power output will go up. The reason you're gimped by having a .15 is that most .15's aren't designed to get the max power possible. This is because ROAR rules only allow for .12's so manufacturers put the most resources into the racing .12's. Like the OS CV-R, Mugen MT-12, Novarossi RS-12, Picco .12 and the rest. Most .15's were derived from boared out sport engines. Like the OS .15 CV and others. Now, manufacturers are doing this to the race engines listed above and are making some very powerful engines. Since these engine are so small the minute increase in rotating mass won't affect top speed like a real car's engine would. If you plan on racing competitively, get a .12 so just incase they are enforcing the rules, you'll be legal.
