I assume you mean tranny, center shafts, diffs, outboard shafts etc. Yup, the center shafts may be too long, but that's an easy fix. You'll have to switch the axle carriers to use the 4outboard shafts.

What would be the most likely to break if you didn't bother doing anything beside putting a 3.3 in? I would think the tranny but i may be wrong.I like the smallerness of the 2.5 over all,just could use more power.But the 2.5 just looks more realalistic to me.

The rear center shaft and rear diff would break eventually. I would swap the rear diff to a newer style and be done with it.
