Default Add Castor oil?

I am pretty new to the sport and I don't race. My question is, if I add more Castor oil to my fuel will I add life to my engine? I am currently running Blue Thunder Sport Formula and it doesn't say how much oil content it has in it. If it would help, how much should I add? I have about half a gallon of this fuel left.

Adding oil to your fuel will increase the lubricant content thus can extend the life of your engine. Some fuel makers do not indicate the oil content of their product, to make it safe check the manufacturers website. As for blue thunder, I am not positive that it only has 10% oil in it. I am also sure that there is a thread about nitro fuels, just do some searching from this website.

I can also give you some links as to how much oil you can add to your fuel, just click on the links.

I hope this helps.

Yep your right. It does have 10% Oil.

Althought its ok for .21 sized engines, I'd go with about 15% for .12s and 15s.

The sport formula has 7% castor and 3% synthetic. The RACE has 3% castor and 7% synthetic.
(I may have that mixed).

But anyway. Yeah I would add some castor and make the oil % about 12-14 if that makes you feel better It does to me!

10% oil???? I wont run anything though any engine of mine that does not have at least 18% oil, and some of it better be caster, since caster has a higher flash point.
