Default JR 12X vs 9303 Module

Danny,

Recent ads show that the JR 12X TX is available with a module based 2.4 Ghz system. This module appears not to have the goofy external antenna wire that the Spektrum module has. Can the 12X module be used on the 9303 TX??

Simple answer..... no... the 9303 uses a 5 pin connector, the 12X uses 2 x 14 pin connectors.

Wonder if it can be hacked to work with the XP9303?

A very good question....

If you look at the RF module as used in the 12X and the module as used in the 11X, they are the same but with different connectors. The 11X uses the conventional 5 pin connector as per the older modular JR sets.

Would imagine that it is feasible.

Instead of hacking a $100+ module, why not buy an integrated case,SPM6817, for $9.50?
