Pretty sure you can, I've converted TO the 18mz using a PC and copying to and from th SD card using the Futaba Model Converter Software<a target="_blank" href="http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=we b&amp;cd=2&amp;ved=0CDUQFjAB&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2F downloads.hobbico.com%2Fsoftware%2Ffut%2FModelData Converter.pdf&amp;ei=tCSBUfL7MIb62QXZ8oBQ&amp;usg= AFQjCNH6szJvJPe-yhog7-6wNqv8rwjY3w&amp;bvm=bv.45921128,d.b2I">

I think the mapping TO an 18MZ is OK as the 18MZ is able to handle the 'simpler' programs from a 12FG. I'm wondering if it's possible to go FROM the 18MZ TO a 12FG.

Also, was your link to something specific as I get a 404 error.

Rgds,
Mark

Try this page, Download Model Data Converter.

www.futaba-rc.com/software-updates.html

I think it will convert both ways. I bought a Flash 2nd hand once and the seller emailed me the program from his 12FG. I was able to convert it and upload it in seconds. On the maiden flight I didn't even need to change the trim!<br type="_moz" />

On the Futaba Model Data Converter they don't list the 18MZ as an option to convert FROM but they als don't list is as a TO either.

Try using the 14MZ, I believe that is what I used to convert to the 18MZ and it worked like a champ! Good Luck!
