Default transmission question

Have a revo with a picco 26 max jl redot with a THS146B pipe. I'm replacing the tranny gears with robinson racing foc kit. Was just wondering if I should stick with the wide ratio gear or go standard ratio?

Default RE: transmission question

I do not see much of a problem going with the Wide FOT kit with this engine if your looking for more speed.

If your looking for more power the standard gears would be the way to go.     Depends on where your driving.

For racing the Standard Gears will do better on a track and for bashing the Wide will give you more speed.

Default RE: transmission question

If by some chance you should have any problems now or in the future ...the standard gears are easily found ...the wide gears are harder to find..I changed all of mine but still used the poly gears..I have went back to standard cause I have to wait a week to get the wide gears cause they have to be ordered..also on a revo the extra speed you pick up is hardly used unless you have some serious straight away runs you want ever go that fast ..also it run my temps up about 20 degrees...
Just IMO ....good luck which ever way you go...
