Default Help with my 2 channel radio receiver

I have a Hobbico 2 channel AM receiver. The receiver says that it has a Battery Eliminator Circuit. The problem is I'm not sure how much voltage the receiver can take. Does anyone know if I can hook a 9.6 volt pack directly to it without burning it up?

Thanks Don

I don't know? I do know it was intended for 7.2 or 8.4 stick pack.

Is it that the BEC is for electric usage such that if you have an ESC, you can power the receiver through the ESC without using a receiver battery pack?

If that is the case, you can't connect a 9.6v directly to the receiver. Receiver, I believe have a voltage input of 4.8 to 6.0v (?)
