I was wondering if anyone knew of a site or series of sites that had the plane of choice's (being the craft that you wanted to build) actual dimensions?

I've been interested in a few different planes (the F4U Corsair to be one) to build, but lack the actual dimensions of the plane to scale it down to what I want.

Could anyone show me how you look up planes that you want to build?

The best source is scale threeviews. What you need is a threeview with as many cross sections as possible. A good place to start looking is www.bobsairdoc.com . I do not have any connections to this company other than being a customer. You can find nearly anything you wish among his drawings which are all on paper.
