Default Chart Pack tape question

Got my plane in primer and want to try some panel lines...Went to hobbylobby and tried to find chartpack tape in the drafting supplies....the only thing I could find is made by Headline and is labeled "Graphic Art Tape" ....is this the right stuff? Any info would be helpful....TIA Doc

Default RE: Chart Pack tape question

Doc,
I don't think the Headline tape will work for you. I got some Headline tape when I did my P-51 and it was clear tape about 1/4" wide with a 1/32" line printed on it. The Chartpak tape is narrow tape ( 1/16, 1/32, 1/64) with an adhesive back. Check a local art or office supply store for it. I could'nt find it at our Office Max but they might have it in a larger city. Usually the 1/64" tape will work just fine for most sizes of planes.

Scott
