I think I did well!
I've always wanted a Kyosho Mad Force type truck. I liked the idea of solid axles. I got THREE of them on a local craigs list ad. I got 3 trucks, three working rx/tx, 4 engines(he left fuel in them so little gumed up), and some spare parts. Two of them look as if they were not run much and the third was the beater. I even got 3 glow ignitors and 10 unopened glow plugs. I paid $250 for all!

a steal indeed. a working one goes for $200ish on ebay.
I sold a twin force (brushed version) for $275 and a brushless version for $350
They are certainly a unique truck. Look up the common axle mount servo mod, as the stock steering system has lots of play (just like a wheely king does)
Otherwise, they are pretty durable. the electric ones I had could pull wheelies with ease and im sure a nitro version would do the same.
if you get 2 working, you could sell 1 and make most of your money back and have the other running one plus a parts truck for basically $0!

I was thinking of maybe converting one to electric for my 8 yo to run around. Nothing crazy with lipos or brushless, just regular Summit type motor. I haven't run one yet but I am really liking how easy they are to wrench on. I can't wait to get one running! Just wish they were 2.4ghz though.

two of them look like this. The other one is a little more dirty and fuel soaked but overall in good order. I may like thses better than my Savage and I love that thing!

Well, all 3 running. Spent my day off cleaning them. All three run and drive without any major problems. One needs a couple clutch bell bearings and a new clutch spring. I'm getting all three new air filters. I need a but load of batteries! Twelve batteries each so with my Savage, 48 double a's!!! LOL. Need to invest in some packs.
I will say they are a blast to drive, they need a little more um finess to drive! They are a hand full but really fun! One of them has an O.S. .21 RG engine and it's amazing the power difference between it and the stock engine. The one with the O.S. had the original engine in the O.S.box and they must have only ran it like 2 times on the stock engine cause it is like brand new!
