I just had someone offer me a honbyking 2100kv sensored motor and a hobbywing 120a sensored sct pro esc. Are these to products going to hold up in my emaxx??

I personally would rather have a 150amp esc in a monster truck but others have used that exact esc in their emaxx's. Don't get greedy with the gearing and pay attention to the temps and you'll be ok.

Recommendations can vary somewhat. Castle esc's have the fan come on at 150F and everything I've found says under 175F max temp. It's the same story for motors but I prefer under 160F for a safety margin.
