Im already thinking...if the steering is already there and plenty powerful, it might be easy to slap in some brushless motors and make one of these go 30-40mph (without a kid in it, obviously)

When I was little, power wheels were those things a few rich kids had. Now, lots of kids have them. And now you can buy one that is radio controlled. Its crazy.

Nice! I had an old Silverado Power Wheels long ago. Wanted to turn it into an RC car but ended giving it to my neighbor before we moved.

Want more speed? Put a 12v battery in there to double the speed. That's what I did with my daughter's Barbie 4 wheeler. I made her put a helmet on just to be a little "on the safe side" as she took her new boosted ride on our RC off-road track. She spun out in every turn...that was a one-and-done ride on the track with 12 volts . If you really want to see some crazy sh**, just look up modified Power Wheels on YouTube. On there you can see what 24v will do with stock Fisher-Price motors.

Those remote ride on "Power Wheels" type RCs that are linked in the first post...I'd like to know the torque rating of the motor steering it.

And on the statement in the description..."For maximum safety, a remote control unit is also included in each package so someone can keep watch and ensure the vehicle does not veer into dangerous situations." I sure hope parents/adults have enough common sense when letting a kid operate such a ride on toy. 'Cause all I see nowadays are peoples faces planted in their smart phones/tablets...they can't put their "link to the world" down for more than a minute to enjoy life. I like the idea of RC ride on toys, but all I see is congested towns, sidewalks, driveways, and lawsuits.

the pictures they edited on of the kid, and dog made me laugh

Too bad Hobbyking still didn't carry that massive brushless motor that was the size of someones fist. Imagine that sucker with that in it running on 11S
