Default prop question

I am trying to get more vertical pull. I am using a 10/7 e prop. Do I go up in size and diameter or down??

Start with a 12/4 or 12/5. More diameter and less pitch is the key for more vertical and much lower speed.
A little more info about plane and engine would help me make a little more informed decision.

Plane is the leader 480. Park 480 motor. I have been running a 10/7 prop. 3 cell 2100mah battery.

As pylon racer said, go up in diameter and down in pitch. Do use a watt meter to make sure you do not exceed current limits of the motor, battery or ESC.

I wouldn't go straight to a 12 inch prop, maybe an 11x6 to start with. I have that motor on a very light Edge 540 and use an 11x7 with it. A 12x5 or 12x4 would be a better 3D prop, but at least on my plane the straight line speed was so slow it got me into trouble sometimes in the wind.
