Default just bought two new nitro rc's tips and tricks wanted

Hey guys, I've been browsing for a few days here, and I wanted to get some opinions. I recently purchased two RC buggies from ExceedRC, one has the .16 nitro engine and the other a .18 nitro with a 2 speed trans. These are my first real deal RC cars. I've read mixed reviews about this brand, but what attracted me was the price and the advertised performance. Both are a 4WD buggy 1/10 scale. The first I bought for my son as a Christmas present. I decided to break in the car before he opens the present so he can go full out for his first run. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased the next step up on the website for myself, selfish I know. However I'm looking to put a kit together for tools and spare parts. I've already got a couple of glow plugs, 4 axles, air filter, and some screws. Also I have after run oil, air filter oil, and silicon for the suspension. I bought the kit that nitroRCX offers which give me some basic tools like a couple of cross wrenches, couple of screw drivers and a glow plug ignighter. I smashed the car pretty good into a wall...bending one of the axles and also part of the strut tower. I was easily able to straighten the strut tower, but I didn't want to mess with the axle since they were so cheap online, I just ordered more. One of my questions is: what do I need to have on hand as I'm trying to put a kit together to have what I need to have on hand when it breaks. I'm assuming that things will break, given the speed these things go and our inexperience driving them. My goal is to have what I need to fix them when they break, so what are the more common issues that arise? thanks in advance for your advice!
